Donate to Crisis Support Services of Alameda County

OUR VISION: An Alameda County in which everyone - in all of our diversity - feels a sense of belonging through a comprehensive approach to suicide prevention. Help us achieve that vision with your donation today. We provide comprehensive suicide prevention and crisis intervention services in Alameda County with our 988 and local crisis line and text line, youth outreach and rapid response team, community education, and individual and group therapy for youth, adults, and older adults.
- Added overnight text line services in order to meet a 40% increase in overnight text line requests
- Created the Organizing and Responding to Crisis for Alameda Youth (ORCA) Program to provide immediate and caring support for youth who have had a recent emergency department visit
- Added grief therapy services for couples who have lost a child to suicide
However, we can’t do it alone.
- Expand the capacity of our 24/7 crisis call and text services for immediate support and intervention
- Train and equip community members to be the first line of support for someone in crisis
- Expand our outreach to reach communities where help is often out of reach
- Provide clinical services to youth and older adults in their schools or homes
Together, we can make a difference, one person at a time. We all have a role to play in creating a world where people in crisis are met with care, understanding, and compassion. Every donation helps us to extend our services, support more individuals in crisis, and offer the hope and healing that so many desperately need.
Please consider making a donation today to help us turn the tide on this public health crisis. Together, we can be the support that someone needs to find their way out of darkness.
